Why Become a Member?
As a member of the Peter Snell Institute of Sport you will be directly helping our young athletes through both the Talent Search Programme and the Athlete Awards and Recognition Programme.
Why Does the Institute Need Members?
The Peter Snell Institute of Sport is an Incorporated Charitable Trust and receives NO Government funding. We are almost entirely dependent on Donations from our members and supporters and Grants from Trusts.
We do not charge a fee of any sort for our work with our youth and with the Secondary Schools.
What Does It Cost?
The Donation to become a Foundation Member of the Peter Snell Institute of Sport is about the same as a cup of coffee or a couple of newspapers per week. Less than $4.00 per week or $17.00 per month. $200.00 per year (which is Tax Deductable) is all it takes to support the extremely successful programmes working with our youth and young athletes.
How Do I Join?
You have a couple of easy options.
1. Complete the joining form and send it back to us with a cheque, or
2. Send back the form and internet bank to us or set up a regular AP, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, the choice is yours.What are the Member Benefits?

Ø A FREE Stage 2 test for you (Normally we charge $75 for non students, these tests will cost up to $225 elsewhere)
Ø A 50% discount on further testing (most people want to be tested 2 or 4 times per year)

And we are currently in negotiation to provide even more value to our members. For the typical family with children or grandchildren who participate in sport the Nike discounts alone will likely add up to more than $4.00 per week.
